A life-long experience

I’m Jonas, the face behind Diamond & Light Wedding Photography. I have been in love with capturing special moments ever since I held my first camera as a child.


I have had the priviledge to photograph couples all across the world from snowy mountains to blazing deserts and I have had the honor to capture countless celebrations, love-stories and celebrities and win awards with my imagery.


My approach

I am drawn to the quiet and intimate moments, the ones that are felt rather than seen. The gentle morning light on a flower, the fleeting glance that everyone else misses, the open laughter that lives long after the moment is gone. And, above all, the deep love you share.

1. Getting in Touch

 I will respond to your message within 24h.

2. Getting to know each other

We meet online and talk about the visions and story of your day. I help you to define the best way to tell that story authentically and artistically. 

3. Your dream wedding

I’m there to tell your story as a quiet, attentive observer, from the getting ready in the morning up until the party at night. You can relax and just be yourselves – I’ll do the rest and direct you only when necessary. 

4. Delivery

Within 48h of your wedding, you will receive your first imagery to share with friends and family. The final images and videos will be delivered within 8 weeks.

  • For how long have you been doing photography?

    I have been capturing precious moments ever since I first held an analog camera in my hand as a child. 


    Over the years, I have refined my style, my understanding of light and how to handle busy events and unexpected moments. This makes working with me an effortless and easy experience for you.


  • How does the booking process work?

    It all starts with your message to which I respond within 24 hours. Ususally we get to know each other via a videocall and you tell me about your plans and vision. Moving forward, we fix your date and work out a detailed plan. I’ll make sure to support you as best as I can until and during your wedding day. 

  • How far in advance should we book?

    At best one year, but spontaneous inquiries are always possible.


    Please keep in mind: In order to be able to give me clients the utmost care and attention, I have strictly limited the number of weddings I accept to 15 weddings per year. 


  • Do you offer video?

    Yes, I do! You can book professional video coverage of your day which will result in either an artfully edited video of roughly 5 minutes accompanying special moments throughout your wedding day or 2-3 reels of roughly 1 minute each. 

  • What about drone photography/videography or analog imagery?

    Both are possible. If you’re into spectacular areal perspectives or if you crave that rare, nostalgic, grainy film-look – just let me know. I will seamlessly blend drone photography and videography as well as 35mm film photography into the authentic documentary of your special day. 

  • What does working with you feel like?

    I’m a calm, attentive and reliable observer. My goal is to deliver an effortless and artful documentary that captures not just how it looked, but how it felt. You can just be you, relax and let yourselves be guided only when it is necessary. 

  • How long does it take until we receive the final images and how many images do we get?

    After the wedding, you will receive a first highlight-gallery within 48 hours, with the final results taking no longer than 8 weeks.

     

    Depending on the duration of my coverage, you will ususally receive 400-800 beautifully edited images.
